Aisling Collins – Managing Partner
Aisling studied Law at the University of Sussex and obtained her first Law degree a BA in Law with American studies. She then went on to become a Master of Law being awarded a LLM at University College Dublin. She completed her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London before being admitted as a solicitor in 1998.
Since 2002 she has specialised her practice in all areas of Family Law with particular focus on Financial Settlements following Divorce for medium and high net worth clients. She has also undertaken a great deal of disputes concerning Children with respect to Contact and Residence and Specific Issues. She is experienced in cases involving Child Abduction and disputes concerning children with multi jurisdictional aspects.
Aisling has trained as a Collaborative Lawyer and is also a Resolution trained Family Mediator. She has an ever increasing number of clients choosing to us these methods to resolve family disputes and achieving successful outcomes for themselves and their families.
Jacqui Nicholls – Legal Executive
Jacqui advises on all aspects of Estates following a death and the administration of Estates.
Jacqui has extensive knowledge and experience in these areas. Committed to offering friendly, practical advice, Jacqui can be easily understood by a lay person. This enables clients to decide how they wish to deal with the deceased’s affairs.
More recently, Jacqui has been dealing with Deeds of Variation and more complicated Trust matters. She is however equally at ease assisting and advising in any Estate, large or small.
Kate Moran – Associate Solicitor
After completing her A-Levels Kate went to Bristol University to read law and graduated with a 2:1 LLB degree in Law. Kate continued to return to E.M Collins & Co in the Summer holidays throughout her school studies and law degree and was delighted to be offered a position as a Trainee Solicitor at the firm.
Kate began her training with E.M Collins & Co in September 2007 whilst at the same time undertaking the LPC Course at BPP Law School in Waterloo obtaining a distinction.
Kate Qualified as a Solicitor in October 2010 and assists Aisling, Mary and Jacqui in all areas of practice at the firm.
